What an incredible morning I had in Mexborough last week! I joined all five local primary schools at the Mexborough Business Centre to celebrate poetry and the arts with the National Literacy Trust in Doncaster and the Fox Gallery. I also heard from the pupils about their passion for creativity and the environment.
The bright young people of Mexborough were inspiring, and it was such a joy to speak with them directly about their contributions, hopes and aspirations for the future.
The children were also joined by celebrated illustrator Chris Mould, the talent behind the iconic Iron Man mural in the Business Centre.
