Last week I visited Mexborough High Street with representatives from Doncaster Council to see the transformation taking place thanks to the Levelling Up funding.
Mexborough secured £20 million from the Levelling Up Fund to revitalise the town centre, improve connectivity, and create new opportunities for local businesses and residents. It’s fantastic to see this investment becoming a reality on the high street, with work now well underway to breathe new life into Mexborough.
We also stopped by 30Mexborough Cafe and Tea Room to have a delicious lunch and to hide from the hailstorm. It’s always a pleasure to support our brilliant local businesses and catch up with familiar faces.
