It was brilliant to join my friend Sally Jameson at the relaunch of The Point, home of darts – Doncaster Community Arts following completion of their Phase 1 decarbonisation works.
It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate how they’ve transformed their beautiful Grade II Listed building – three 18th Century Georgian townhouses – into a net zero facility that continues to provide vital community benefits for people in Doncaster.
The upgrades include air source heat pumps, solar panels, new windows, and underfloor heating with insulation. The building is now net zero and future-proofed for community use, well ahead of their 2030 target.
