£20 Million for Mexborough – Have Your Say! 
As you may have heard, Mexborough has been selected for a major investment through the Government’s Pride in Place programme – £20 million over the next ten years (£2 million per year). I’d like to hear from you about how you think that this money should be spent.
What is Pride in Place?
This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform the area. The funding is designed to breathe new life into our community and tackle the issues that matter most to local people. It could be used for projects such as:
* Revitalising the high street and fixing up empty buildings
* Improving our parks and green spaces
* Creating new community facilities
* Supporting local businesses
* Better facilities for young people
But here’s the important bit – YOU decide how this money is spent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Mexborough, and I’m determined that residents’ voices are at the heart of every decision.
