Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Jackdaw Wood CIC, which is a beautiful holistic eco-therapy space nestled in nature, offering an alternative approach to wellbeing.
They run workshops and events in the woods focused on self-care, personal growth, and healing. During my visit, I learned practical techniques for reducing stress and enhancing mindfulness and even took part in a peaceful group meditation session.
It was inspiring to hear how Jackdaw Wood has supported so many in the community, providing a safe and inclusive space for people to process trauma and reconnect with themselves.
