Last week, Sally Jameson and I had the pleasure of joining the National Literacy Trust in Doncaster for a roundtable discussion on the power of reading.
We were inspired by the enthusiasm of Doncaster’s Primary Ambassadors, as well as pupils from Montagu Academy, who shared their love of books and some brilliant ideas on how to get more people reading.
We also took a moment to reflect on our own favourite stories (mine is the Lorax) and answered some fantastic questions about how we can make reading more exciting and accessible for people of all ages.
