Thank you to everyone who reached out to me regarding the recent internet connectivity problems across Doncaster North. I’m sorry to hear that some constituents continued to experience disruptions over the weekend.
I’ve been informed that Virgin Media completed repair work on Sunday afternoon, and all affected residents should now be reconnected. Please do write to me at ed.miliband.mp@parliament.uk if you are still having issues.
I understand how frustrating this past week has been, especially for families, local businesses, and individuals with additional needs who rely heavily on a stable internet connection. Many of you also shared concerns about the lack of clarity and timely communication during the outage.
I will be writing to Virgin Media to share the experiences of my constituents, and to ask what steps will be put in place to prevent a similar situation in the future.
