It was great to visit Montagu Hospital in Mexborough to see how the construction is progressing on the medical imaging centre, which will be part of the Community Diagnostics Centre.
As part of the event we buried a time capsule, a tradition at Montagu, with several buried around the site.
I also visited Mexborough Elective Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence. This centre provides hip and knee replacements for patients across South Yorkshire and I was incredibly impressed with the work that they are doing there
