This government has won a mandate to deliver a bold plan for energy and climate action, investing in clean homegrown power as the route to energy independence, to lower energy bills, create good jobs, and tackle the climate crisis.
We have taken immediate action in lifting the onshore wind ban, which has been in place for 9 years and pushed up bills for families.
I am determined to deliver lower bills and good jobs for Doncaster and for the UK.
That work has begun.
