I know how much Mexborough needs investment and re-generation. That’s why we pressed the government to come forward with proper resources to invest in Mexborough through the levelling up bid and I am delighted that our bid was successful.
The success of the bid is a credit to all the local residents who supported the bid as well as to Doncaster Council and Mayor Ros Jones for their persistence and hard work.
Now we need to make sure we involve the community in making sure this money makes a real difference.
