Several residents spoke to me about the impact of the traffic through the village and the bypass scheme, and I will continue to press for this with Mayor Oliver Coppard. Several other issues were raised that I am now taking forward. I had one very grateful resident who wanted to discuss how our work on the Mineworkers Pension Scheme had really benefited him.
