This week, Labour MPs met with the Secretary of State for Health to lobby for a new hospital in Doncaster. Dame Rosie Winterton MP and Ed Miliband MP along with Mayor Jones have been arguing the case for a new hospital for several years.

“Doncaster residents deserve a hospital fit for the 21^st century, a point we have been making for some years.

“The Prime Minister promised 40 new hospitals so it’s absolutely right that Doncaster should benefit from this.

“Health professionals in Doncaster have been incredibly impressive in recent months responding to the coronavirus crisis. They should be able to work in equally impressive, state of the art, facilities.”
