I have responded to a request from the Transport Minister to provide feedback on the HS2 property acquisition programme.

I am not a supporter of the current M18 route for HS2 phase 2b and I have requested that the Government engages with HS2 North campaigners. However, I welcome efforts to improve the property acquisition programme and I have set out some of the concerns raised by constituents directly affected by the proposed route.
