Ed is delighted that two of the four parks in Doncaster to have been awarded a green flag as part of Love Parks Week are in Doncaster North. Well done to all those who work so hard to keep Cusworth Hall Park and Bentley Park so lovely.

On Friday, Ed attended and was honoured to be asked to raise the green flag at Cusworth Hall Park. We have some fabulous green spaces in Doncaster North and it’s right that the hard work of Council officers and volunteers has been rewarded.

Love Parks Week is run by the Keep Britain Tidy campaign.  Four Doncaster parks – Sandall Park (Wheatley Hills), Quarry Park (Dunsville), Bentley Park and Cusworth Hall Park – have been recognised by the Green Flag Award Scheme as some of the very best in the world. The international award, now into its third decade, is a sign to the public that the parks boasts the highest possible environmental standards, is beautifully maintained and has excellent visitor facilities.
