Teenagers from across Yorkshire got the chance to quiz Ed at an event held in Bentley.
He was a special guest at Youth Voice Day, which also saw young people tell him of their plans and projects.
It was held in My Place, Askern Road, and organised by the Youth Work Unit.
Ed said: "All too often young people feel they are in the position of having to listen to politicians telling them what to think and feel.
"This was an opportunity for them to talk to me about their plans, hopes and dreams.
"It was a fantastic event and I came away full of optimism for the future, based on the smart, upbeat and thoughtful young people I met."
