New play area in Doncaster town

EM_cutting_ribbon_at_Bentley_plahy_area.jpgEd got into the swing of things when he officially opened a revamped play area in Bentley.

He cut the ribbon at the site on The Avenue, opposite New Village Primary.

In total £35,000 was spent on new items of play equipment, including swings, slides and a see-saw.

The councillors for the area – Jane Nightingale, Bill Mordue and Charlie Hogarth – worked with members of the school’s council to plan the project.

It was funded by Doncaster Council.

Ed said: “It’s a fantastic looking play area and the children seemed to be having a great time on the new equipment. I’d like to thank everyone who came together to make it happen.”
