Ed opens school play area

EM_windhill_ribbon_cut_1.jpgEd got into the swing of things when he officially opened a school’s new play area.

He was welcomed to Windhill Primary, Hollingworth Close, by members of the School Council.

The Doncaster North MP then cut the ribbon to officially unveil the new trim trail, a wooden obstacle course featuring swings and a climbing frame.

He said: “Windhill Primary is an excellent school and I was very impressed with the staff and students. The new trim trail will be a fun addition to the playground and will help to keep the children active and healthy.”

Mr Miliband then toured the school, meeting staff and students, before tucking into a tasty school dinner.

Headteacher Jenette Guy said: “We’re delighted Mr Miliband visited the school to open our new play area and look forward to welcoming him back in the future.”
